Digital India: Why won't it work in our country?

Hey!! I thought it was a joke..........but it made me realize that 'Yes'  , my India is changing or at least trying to change. Yes, I am talking about the Digital India movement. I couldn't believe that such a movement could even be introduced in India. The biggest reason for this change in our country according to me is our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our Government is trying to do hundreds of things for the betterment of our country but the most important point is that are these changes even made effective at the ground level or are such things gimmicks which will just add up to the speeches of our PM in the next elections ? In this article of mine, I'll talk about everything about the 'DIGITAL INDIA MOVEMENT' and why it's chances of being successful in our country is very low. What is the Digital India Movement? Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens ele...

How is Google helping India develop?

Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this article. I write Educational articles and today I thought of educating you about what Google is doing to help India develop. You would actually think that you know a lot about Google because you use a lot of it's apps like Youtube, Google search, Google+ etc. however am sure that like many you might not have discovered Google completely. So, let's begin with the quest now and find how Google is helping India develop! Why is Google helping India develop? The simple answer is that Google is helping India because India is helping Google become better (What!!) Yes, it's true :) India is a counry where 800 million people live in rural ares and don't have any access to the internet. Google looks at these 800 million people as an opportunity rather than the inability of the country. On the other hand, India is also a country where there are millions of Internet and Google users. Isn't this a huge amount of da...

Can Pro-Kabaddi pick-up in India as IPL did?

Can Pro-Kabaddi pick up as IPL did? Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this article. I am a big fan of cricket and as I live in India, it's obvious that I even love the IPL. Such has been the magic of IPL ,that for some it is just a cricket match, for some it's like this:   OR.. LIKE THIS: And for some, IPL is even their bread and butter: (match-fixing) But, as the IPL was getting older and older, getting some wrinkles on it's face(allegations of match-fixing), it's small brother named the Pro kabaddi league took birth in 2014.  AND BOOOM!!  1st season Pro kabaddi league: 552 million viewers (Not a joke!) 11 huge sponsors!! 70 crores ad revenue!! All these stats are not as huge as the stats of IPL but then too for a league to generate such great numbers for the 1st season and for a sport which is not too popular at the global level is a big thing. Why this popularity? I used to ask my grand mother about how kabaddi...

IIT's are not so great, I'll tell you why?

Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this article. I study in class 9 and I have a real dream of getting into IIT . I fell upon a very interesting article about the above topic and I thought of sharing this with you!!(This is an awesome article, must read!! :) Now that, you have got very tensed after reading the heading of the article, let’s think about this contradiction: our IITs select less than 1 per cent of the students who apply. But their own ranking in world university rankings is nowhere in the top 100. In the latest QS World University rankings, IIT Delhi ranked at 172, IIT Bombay ranked at 179, IIT Madras at 264 and IIT Kharagpur at 308. Before we trash the ranking in the spirit of patriotism, let’s examine the scientific contribution of IITs vis-à-vis the western universities that rank at the top of the list. Very recently, Narayana Murthy, in his convocation address at Indian Institute of Science, mentioned how MIT  (Massachusetts Institute of Technology,...

Why do school studies become tougher after 9th grade??

Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this blog. I have just entered my 9th grade and was feared by my seniors who told me that don't you know that 9th is more tougher than the 10th grade. I was surprised by the statement and I told "WHAT?" Because I see students so much tensed during their 10th's and these seniors of mine are scaring in my 9th.  So then, after gathering all my might I decided to write this blog on why do school studies seem to become tougher in 9th grade.......  What is the difference in "THE 9th GRADE" ? When I entered 9th grade I thought that it was much more different that the previous standards. So, let's see that what were the differences: What ever I learnt was more application based rather the factual based information that I got in previous standards. Rote learning will have no place in your study in 9th grade[Sorry, you rote learners,no place for you] I am a student studying in the SSC board and the kinds...

Can Hardik Pandya become the next "MS DHONI" ?

Hello all!! This is Suven Jagtiani writing this blog. Being an Indian, I am a big fan of both cricket and MSD. The former Indian captain has won hearts of many cricket fans and surely I am one of them. So today, we are going to discuss the question whether Hardik Pandya can become the next MS Dhoni? DHONI'S INABILITIES??  In the past few years we have seen that MS Dhoni is not able to finish matches as frequently as he used to do before. We all know that he is still the smartest cricketer on the cricket field but have his batting skills dipped? The answer to this question is NO. It's not that his batting skills have dipped but bowlers have become smarter against him. Dhoni has a very predictible batting technique and he does not have the kind of dynamic shots that possibly AB Devilliers or Glen maxwell have and bowlers have taken advantage of this. Bowl Dhoni a length ball or a ball which is very full, then you will find the ball only in the stands but if the ball ...
